Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 23 August 2026

This policy forms part of the Anookz Terms of Service and applies to everyone using the Services. It exists so the rules are short enough to actually read.

Security and access

  • Do not attempt to access data, accounts, stores or records that are not yours.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the security of the Services without our written permission. Responsible reports are welcome at security@anookz.com.
  • Do not share credentials, or use an account you were not given.
  • Do not circumvent access controls, rate limits, entitlement checks or bot protection.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive source code from the Services.

Load and automation

  • Do not disrupt or overload the Services or the systems they connect to.
  • Do not scrape or bulk-extract data by automated means outside our documented export and interfaces.
  • Do not resell, rent out or provide the Services to a third party as your own product without our agreement.

Dealing with the other side of the platform

Anookz connects retailers and suppliers, so most of what follows protects the business on the other end of your connection.

  • Do not misrepresent who you are or what your business is in order to obtain a connection, trade pricing or a line sheet.
  • Use data you receive about a counterparty only for the trading relationship it was shared for. Do not redistribute or sell it.
  • Do not retain or continue to use a counterparty’s data after they disconnect from you.
  • Do not use the Services to contact a counterparty’s customers, or to send unsolicited marketing.

Content and listings

  • Only publish products, imagery and claims you hold the rights to and can substantiate.
  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful content.
  • Do not use the Services to import content from a website you do not own or control.
  • Do not misuse AI features to generate infringing, misleading or unlawful material.

Other people’s information

  • Only load personal information you are entitled to hold, and only what you need.
  • If you connect cameras, sensors or rostering, you are responsible for the notice your customers and staff are entitled to.
  • Take care with links. A hosted order page, invoice or picking list can be opened by anyone holding the link.

Enforcement

If we believe this policy has been breached we may remove content, restrict a feature, suspend an account or terminate access, depending on what has happened and how serious it is. Where circumstances allow, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix it. Where there is an immediate risk to security, to the Services or to another business, we may act first and explain afterwards.

Reporting

Security issues to security@anookz.com. Abuse, infringement and everything else to legal@anookz.com.
